What is the Hamburg CARD and what is included?+
The Hamburg CARD is Hamburg's official city ticket. You get free travel throughout the entire HVV public transport network (fare zone AB) and save up to 50% at over 150 attractions, museums, tours and more.
How much does the Hamburg CARD cost?+
The single card (1 adult + up to 3 children aged 6–14) starts from €12.90 per day including public transport. The group card for up to 5 people of any age is available from €24.90 per day.
If you already have a Deutschlandticket, the card is also available without public transport from €4.50 – with all discount benefits.
How long is the Hamburg CARD valid?+
Validity begins on the chosen start date at midnight (0:00) and ends on the last day of validity at 6:00 in the morning of the following day. The card is dated, personal, and does not need to be validated.
Which modes of transport can I use with the Hamburg CARD?+
You can travel all day and without limits on the U-Bahn, S-Bahn, buses and harbour ferries within HVV fare zone AB. The journey to and from the airport on the S1 is also included.
Where and how much do I save with the Hamburg CARD?+
You save at over 150 partners, for example: up to 50% at museums, up to 28% on harbour and Alster boat tours, up to 25% at attractions such as the Hamburg Dungeon or Miniatur Wunderland, and up to 20% on food and drinks with the Schlemmerglück upgrade.
What upgrades are available for the Hamburg CARD?+
There are two optional upgrades:
The Schlemmerglück upgrade (from €2) offers up to 20% discount at numerous restaurants, cafés and bars.
The Hafenliebe upgrade is a combination ticket with a 60% price advantage – including a one-hour harbour tour and free admission to the museum ship Rickmer Rickmers. Both upgrades can also be booked at a later date.
Where can I buy the Hamburg CARD?+
You can buy the Hamburg CARD online as a print-at-home ticket, through the free app „Hamburg – Erleben & Sparen“, or in person at tourist information centres, HVV service points, ticket machines and hotels. Phone bookings are available on +49 40 300 51 701 (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm).
